Crown Lodge impressed me with its breathtaking views of the sea and the dunes. I stayed in a Deluxe Double Room with Sea View. The room was spacious, very clean, and perfect for relaxing after long days exploring. I loved the comfortable bed and the unique wallpapers throughout the lodge. Breakfast exceeded my expectations. the options were varied and delicious, especially the gluten-free accommodation my wife needed. Linda and Mark were genuinely welcoming and shared great local dining tips. I found the lack of a fridge in the room a bit inconvenient, especially during warmer days. Limited restaurant options nearby require some planning if you don't want to travel far. One other minor issue was the steep hill leading to the lodge, which could be a challenge for those with mobility issues. Still, the overall experience was delightful.

We had a boss time! The room with the sea view was stunning, and the breakfast was spot on with local produce. The only downside was the entrance needing a bit of a clean. But overall, we felt at home and can't wait to return!

The views from my room were fine, offering beautiful ocean and mountain scenery that made for a perfect backdrop during my stay. I appreciated the access to scenic coastal pathways right nearby for a bit of adventure.
I ran into a few hiccups around breakfast. The limited hot breakfast variety left me wanting, and the 8:30 AM start felt late if I had plans for the day. It was inconvenient not having a fridge in the room, especially during warmer periods. The steep hill leading to the town was quite a trek, posing a challenge for anyone without a vehicle. Minor plumbing noises were noticeable at times, which can be a bit disruptive in a place where you'd want peace and quiet. Lastly, the limited dining options nearby forced me to travel out for evening meals, which was a tad disappointing.

Couples looking for a getaway should consider this
Wife and I had an very nice time. The bed in our room was super comfy and let me tell you the view was something else the sea was right there in front of us. Every morning we had a lovely breakfast. We even met their cat who was like a tiny surprise guest during our mornings, a real charming touch.
It wasn’t inexpensive but what we got was worth it.
